Ortolanda Borgo Grappa Achieves ISO 45001 Certification

At Ortolanda, we believe that a safe and healthy working environment is not just a goal, it’s a responsibility. That’s why we’re proud to share that our Borgo Grappa location has officially achieved ISO 45001 certification, the international standard for occupational health and safety.

“This milestone validates our commitment to a safe, healthy workplace by preventing injuries and illnesses,” says Simone Buzzoni, Prevention & Safety Lead at Ortolanda. “We’re proud to be one of just five agricultural companies in Lazio, and around 70 in all of Italy, to reach this level. It’s more than meeting a standard. It’s about responsibility and sustainability in agriculture.”

ISO 45001 focuses on proactive risk prevention and continuous improvement, making it a powerful tool for creating safer workplaces in industries where physical labor is a daily reality. For Ortolanda, this certification isn’t just a badge, it’s a reflection of our ongoing dedication to the people behind our produce.

By achieving this milestone, we’re not only improving internal processes, we’re also raising the bar in our sector. Sustainability starts with people, and safety is the foundation.

This is how we grow: responsibly, together.
